After seeing Cyborg maul another one, i ask myself: Isnt it too brutal for women to be fighting?
I still remember those nasty armbars by Ronda in the first Miesha fight, popping her arm out of its
place twice, destroying all its ligaments, and think: Damn, why Miesha deserves that? Then Miesha got
brutalized by Zinganos knees again, i was like, what the fuck... Sometimes i think like Fedor, that
this is a mens sport. But hey, if the girls want to fight, let them fight, id say... and yeah, i like Joanna
champion, shes a great striker afterall.

Lol, women want equality, now they got equality...

It's not your place to tell women what to do and what not to do.

If they want to slug it out, let them have at it.

i'm not too interested in watching, but i suppose they should be allowed to fight if they want to and they find an audience for it

troll thread. sneaky.

it's a trap!

If you like Joanna, how do you feel about her opponents? I actually felt bad for Carla Esparza (couldn't stand her on TUF) when she was getting humiliated and pummeled by Joanna.

Also, how you feel when you see girls getting beat up (like Miesha/Ronda Cyborg/Smith examples you gave) is exactly how many in the Anti-MMA community feel just in general. It's not up to our own personal opinions and "feelings", it's up to the fighters in the cage to decide if this is what they want to do in their life. If women want to prove they are tough enough to get in the cage and battle it out, then so be it. You either watch it or you don't, but to stand up and say they CAN'T or SHOULDN'T is just BS in my opinion.

Allowed to fight yes....and vote, drive cars, all that shit.
But should they fight....probably only a handful of them should, there are too many of them that just half ass dabble in the training, Paige doing crossfit to train for a fight, Ronda putting on 40lbs between fights, the technique of some of these ladies is so bad and amateurish, like they can't throw a proper punch 4 years after turning pro? What da fuq?
It's not a job, it's a life long dedication, you have to LOVE training, eating properly, sparring, getting your ass busted up daily. I don't see that in about 90% of the WMMA fighters that we have right now.
