Those guys got off because there were so many inconsistencies with her story. Time, place, events, etc.

Now if she had actually had consensual sex with them and then accused them? Then they for sure would have got changed, convicted and would have served long sentences. Thankfully people crazy enough to make something like that up aren't necessarily the most calculating about it.
