3. It's these kind of hot takes built up over the past several years of watching only lefty outlets that illustrate why the DNI transcripts are so troubling. Schiff would get on TV and say he has solid evidence of Russian collusion. Now we get to look at that evidence, and there's nothing there. I don't blame the average mainstream lefty for being hoodwinked. The guys you trust told you trump colluded with Russia. How were you to know that behind closed doors under oath, they testified that they had no evidence that Trump colluded with Russia.

You should read those transcripts and see just how many people crying Trump is Putin's lapdog, etc said nothing of the sort once under oath. I'd love to see the FBI files on how his investigation was conducted. However, Stone was convicted in a jury trial wasn't he? It's a lot harder to wiggle out of that than a coerced guilty plea. He's probably getting his hopes up right now, but he's already lucky enough that he didn't get the full seven years. Or was it nine? He isn't getting out of jail any time soon.

Regardless of your feelings about the trial itself, there's nothing to show at this point that Stone was set up in a manner similar to how Flynn was treated. Although, I must admit, I had a negative view of Flynn as well until I read the FBI case file. Stone's theatrical arrest, complete with previous notice to the media does underline how the FBI was playing politics with how things would be reported.

That's the hope. We live in a time where probably well over half of the people are buying the narrative of the media outlets they feel are on "Their side."
