I don't think all test failures should be viewed the same. For example the Machida one seems fairly benign while some of the others seem more serious. Shouldn't some of the substances call for just a slap on the wrist while others should be a very serious punishment? I think this is the biggest issue with the system as it stands now.

I think you should be able to take them for audit first.

There's a grade? ... The problem is them needing another sample after the initial positive testing to confirm....When they are supposed to be the best at what they do... Seem to be playing around...Fighters need a nutritionist-----People don't pay to see drama / testing / stupid story lines.... People want to watch fighters compete. Show what they can do, see who the best is....The rest is BS...People who need drugs to feel better about competing.. Need to find a new career...

Machida didn't even test positive, he admitted to taking it when they asked him to list his supplements. It was legal in 2015, illegal in 2016 from what I've heard.

Well. If someone gets popped for pseudoephedrine, I don't think they should be suspended for two whole years. So yeah, I guess I agree, TS.

It isn't pass-fail now? You either pass or you don't, and if you don't, they test your B sample. If that fails too, you get a hearing to explain yourself. Best-case scenario is a 6-month suspension.

If Jones gets 2 years and loses $30M a lot of guys will think twice about cheating.

The only people saying that are Machida and some dedicated fans. It's been banned for years.

I have an idea...

There is a list of banned substances. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF THEM.

Problem fucking solved.

All negatives should be treated as false negatives.
