Should Gus move to Bellator?

Yeah I think he still can beat DC and even if he wouldn't beat DC, he would probably become a champion

Lol for whut. If he stay put in the UFC LHW division, he'll be champ in no time. Whose left there anyway? Rumble is gone and DC will be gone too. Who left? Latifi?

Hey let's see him book a fight. Guy has more time off than a state worker.

Competition?

Bader and Davis, who else lol?
with the way the UFC is heading maybe it would be a good ideal to send half their contenders over to Bellator to save some money then to start cross promotions with them when they become champions in Bellator. I'm sure DC will be gone once his fight at HW is done Jon is fuck'd Rumble will be back at HW might comeback at LHW seeing how it's depleted this is the best chance for Gus to get the LHW title why go to Bellator.

You create like 20 threads every day dude...

I won't lie, it's a disgraceful division, and I somewhat understand why.

For you to be a 230lb man you typically are carrying some extra body fat (unless you are on PEDs). Typically those who are carrying extra fat are not the most in shape and therefore cannot train anywhere near as long or as hard. If you cannot train as long or as hard then you typically aren't going to be as technical or as impressive as the lighter guys.

Now that PED users are getting caught at a higher rate, you are seeing a decrease in elite big men.

Look at the history of 205lbs, you had guys like Couture, Ortiz, Liddell, Rua, Machida, Henderson, Silva, Belfort, Evans, Jackson and more...

Now ask yourself how many of those guys have failed a PED test, and also ask yourself how many would have failed if tested more stringently.

It's not easy to be an elite fighter when you are that big. The days of seeing 220lb men with less than 6% body fat are gone.

We literally needed an Olympic level athlete in DC to show any elite level MMA in that division (if we are talking clean athletes). I know we have flashes in the pan like Rumble, Gustafsson and such but even look at them, serious cardio issues in the later rounds because it's just not that easy to carry that weight around for 15 minutes or longer. Neither have ever won a 5 round decision and I don't think they ever could unless the opponent was in even worse condition than they are.

You have to smell something fishy when 230lb men are going 25 minutes without getting tired.

Bellator makes sense right now, but they pay their fighters like peanuts.

Lol, as if he wouldn't want to be a dominant UFC champ?

Hypothetically, if he ever would be too good for the rest of the division (won't happen though). Then there's always the HW division for a challenge.

Gus, is the best fighter ever to never hold a belt. He is a serious fighter just always falls short of winning titles. Still i think the UFC should create a division where anyone can use any roids to get juiced up and fight each other, then the rest of the divisions can be clear of fighters like these:

Gus has never been champion and DC and Jones and 205 Rumble are all gone.

He would be crazy to leave right now.
