Should fighters fight without gloves?

I was watching a podcast with Joe Rogan and Jocko. And they were saying that fighters shouldn't fight with gloves on. So I'm just wondering what your thoughts on that? Would it be better if they don't wear gloves?

This is true, it’s just we have enough injuries to go around these days without guys breaking their hands excessively. More so than normal anyway lol.

Joe Rogan's points are stupid per useual. The gloves are there to protect the fighters hands not nec. The other opponent. No gloves equal more broken hands.

True but smarter training could curb a bit of both. Not a lot of fighters actually know how to properly punch and connect with the knuckles. Tyson famously broke his hand in a street fight. Rory fights with only gloves no raps and Faraz has said to hit the bag bare knuckle for a round or so to get a feel for proper punching. Of ciurse we will have injuries its a combat sport but idk if thats a reason for gloves

No gloves change fighting in a big way. More cuts and hand injuries but we'll be closer to raw unfiltered combat
