Would you want to see Eddie Alvarez rematch?

I think Porier could beat Alvarez and would love to see that fight run back.
 
yeah but who knows the way things have been going khabib might get injured and it could be winner of this fight vs kevin lee for the interim interim LW championship
 
I think Eddie wants nothing to do with that fight.

Didn't he decline a rematch already?
 
Maybe. Depends when Tony will be back since I dont believe Conor is ever gonna fight Khabib.

If Dustin wins Gaethje and Pettis finishes might be enough for a title shot. He also should have won the Alvarez fight by DQ imo

I think Porier should move on from this a good win Saturday and he should be looking for Lee(if he wins) for the #1 contender or just start calling for Khabib (if conor or gsp don't fight) he's got a good case and Khabib really needs a fight ASAP imo because of who he won against.
 
They should have run that rematch right back after they fought. Only good thing that came out of Alvarez declining the rematch was the JUST BLEED special that him and Gaethje put on. It was damn good too!

He's stated that he has something in the works, but I'm not even sure who that would be at this point. I think the only guy without an opponent in the top 15 is Vick and Raging Al.

After getting DQd Dustin said he didn't think that he did it on purpose and said lets run it back. Then Eddie said that Dustin didn't deserve the rematch
 
Tony is probably out till late this year if not till early next year.

Eddie will be the next fight for Khabib ifthey can't get Conor back. Otherwise if they can get Conor back maybe it will be Khabib vs Conor in Russia this fall when that show is announced. Otherwise I think it will be Khabib vs Eddie in Russia.

P.S.: I think Conor is just waiting on what Floyd will do. Might be a pipe dream, but the payday would tower over any other fight for Conor. So what does he have to lose while waiting another month or so.
 
Dustin needs to tell his Ragin Cajun side to stfu and focus on pursuing the title.

If he KOs Gaethje, call out Tony. Winner gets Khabib.
 
Dustin, Gaethje, or Eddie may be khabibs first title defense with Conor and tony up in the air

I'd like to see the winner rematch Eddie regardless of who wins.
 
I wanted that to be an immediate rematch, so yes, fuck yes.

I like the idea anyway for the health of the division. Everyone else at the top is busy or injured, so there aren't really any match ups for Eddie to take. There are no clear title contenders, and I don't think Porier deserves a shot off a win against Gaethje.

Should everything go the way I envision it, Khabib fights Conor while Tony heals up. Gaethje fights the winner of Barboza X Lee should he win, and that becomes a #1 contender fight. Porier fights Eddie should he win, in this alternate reality, this is the #1 contender fight. Winner of Porier x Eddie or Gaethje x Barboza/Lee fights for the title. By this time Tony should be completely healed up and ready to fight for the title, or takes a time up fight followed by title shot.

After this mess sorts itself out, the division should be healthy again.
