Don't get me wrong, I appreciate it was a loss out of his comfort zone fighting child sized adults.

However, I think we can see he has serious flaws in his game now. He eats too many shots, and although he was walking through them at 145 he may not be able to do so forever. Also his ground game seems questionable at best.

I feel like if he put in a camp or two at Tristar he could develop better footwork, wrestling and jitsu.

Much of what Nate was saying had some truth to it. He doesn't have the same level of training partners that the more established gyms can offer.

Yeah possibly he should - except theres not many top camps that have fighters he hasn't talked shit to, about or had beef with

Conor will never have elite wrestling and bjj, it doesn't matter.

I think you are buying too much into his "on screen" persona.

Most people say he's respectful backstage. It was evident in the latest embedded when him and Faber embraced and seemed like good pals.

You'd think the Kavanagh camp disbands if McGregor leaves.

Wonder what happens to Lobov? Maybe Conor takes him along as his personal punching bag or something.

We welcome him to MMA Mecca.

Honestly, Conor could benefit from working with the Skrap Pack/Gracie Fight Team.... and they can benefit from working with Kavanagh and company.

Maybe I am. However, I really don't think Chad, RDA, Cerrone, Frankie, Aldo or the Diaz bros would be too keen on having him around their camp

I don't know about doing that full time or whatever, but I've always liked the idea of fighters doing tours of other camps in their "off season". Every coach has a different outlook and specialized in different things. If they'll have you, why not do a short tour and get the cliffs

I think that Conor has a solid camp, might want change some coaching strategies though and bring in some more training partners. Less time with Ido and movement, bring in some more grapplers and train some more BJJ (can't remember if Hall is coming back but that would be good). Tighten and fine tune his boxing rather than working on wheel kicks.

Yeah that's kinda what I meant. Don't leave SBG - but certainly go spend some time with a different team and work on the holes in your game.

I think with Conor's vast riches he can bring people in now. He seems comfortable with SBG and I think his boy Lobov could use the help too.
