I have never seen height measurements as much of a joke as it is in the UFC since NCAA basketball in the 80's, where Lou Carniseca (St. John's university) threatened to remove his team from the arena if John Thompson (Georgetown university) did not adjust his centers listed height.

It was hysterical him going the F off at how his center Bill Wenigton (a legitimate 7'er) came up to the Quote 6'8" unquote Georgetown centers (Dikembe Mutumbo's) chin!

He grew like a half a foot in one evening!

I get a huge kick that John "The Trinidad Scorpion" Moruga is a foot taller than the champion of his weightclass (Demetrius Johnson), yet they looked eye to eye when they fought. Why doesn't Mighty Mouse get listed as 5'8"?
