Let's be honest. These fighters are going through a lot of wear and tear from all the grueling training. They also have to face another human being in a cage. How about we cut them some slack and allow them to use PED'S up to a safe level (if a safe level actually exists).

Will you be fine if i have sex with your girlfriend as long as I dont put it all the way in?

I think they should let them wild and take all the vitamin S they want.

Personally I wouldn't be against fighters getting doctor supervised steroids to help with injury recovery when appropriate. The only problem with that is you need a whole system just to figure out which doctors are giving out legit scrips for legit dosage for legit injuries

They tried it, don't you remember trt? Guess what, the fighters abused that too

There are only two ways to go. You go pride route and don't test for peds. Or you have strict testing and don't allow peds.

I always thought a happy medium can be possible where some peds are allowed but I don't think the people are ready to accept that.

I don't think they should be allowed to use PEDs generally, which seems to be what you're implying. But I do think that they should be able to use enhancements to recover from injuries -- more specifically, from surgeries.

I basically had my shoulder reconstructed 6 months ago and I'm not even close to being medically cleared to grapple and box. Even when I do get such clearance, my body will be so deflated that it will take quite a long time to recover the muscle mass and athleticism that I lost. For a professional fighter, this could be 1.5 to 2 years for full recovery. In such situations, it seems entirely reasonable to allow enhancements to get them back to where they were before surgery.

That's my 2 cents, anyway.
