Prelims start at 5:00 PM EST.

I haven't watched a Shooto event in probably over 20 years, and that was on a grainy shitty Japanese VHS bootleg.

Bless Fight Pass, it really is the tits. :)

There are big changes coming up with Shooto Brazil in 2023. A full re-brand!
Is Pederneiras stepping away? They didn’t run events for a while and then just just came up with quick events in succession and they seem less focused on Nova União fighters.

José Victor def. Wesley Silva by unanimous decision.

Cleiver Fernandes def. Filipe Zacaron by unanimous decision.

Júnior Assis vs. Iago Nascimento ends in no contest in round 1 due to an accidental eyepoke from Assis.

Just turned it on to see that huge left hand KO.

Kauã Fernandes def. Felipe Pereira by KO in 1:56 of round 1 with an overhand left.

No, he is stepping up the organization. Yes, less NU Fighters. They haven't promoted events for ten months due to lack of sponsors and businesses not doing very well in Brazil. He signed a twenty event deal until the end of 2024 with the UFC Fight Pass, and they wanted him to promote for events until the end of this year. That is why they had an event two weeks ago, one today and two more the close the year.

Very good. Thank you.

Inglesson de Lara def. Diego Domingos by split decision.

Wellington Souza def. Thyago Silva by submission in 1:30 of round 2 with an armbar.
