Gordon ain't no slouch, but I gotta go with Paddy, it's still a pretty safe matchup for him.

I thought I'd be interested in Gordon but the dude has average TDD, gives up his back a lot and is a bit chinny. Got to go with the baddy.

I know i have seen several gordon fights but the only one i remember is when Charles TKOed him.

They’re trying their best to protect Paddy. Gordon doesn’t have KO power and has decent wrestling and grappling.

The Paddy hype train will probably end soon, but I don't think Gordon is the one to do it. He's just an okay striker and okay grappler, who really doesn't possess any finishing ability. He's pretty athletic and tough but at the end of the day I think the fight will end up on the ground and Paddy will submit him. It's another pretty favorable matchup for Paddy IMO.

Once Paddy fights someone who can stop a takedown and has above average striking though the hype train will get derailed.

Paddy's time will come where he'll face his match and lose, but it won't be Jared boring ass Gordon that'll beat him, Paddy wins this imo.

Like others have said, this is meant to showcase Paddy. It’s a slight step up in the rankings but he should win this one.

I think Pimblett is overated as hell, one of the worst prospects that I've seen from Europe.

He's decent, but his abilities don't match one fifth of the hype he has going on.

If Gordon can avoid getting hurt, I think Gordon wins. I think he can and will beat Paddy.

I like Paddy though, so hope he pulls it off.

I personally don't understand these match makings. I was confused why they fed Molly to Erin. Obviously, this one's not as bad as that one, but I'm sure they could have given Paddy an easier match up, but they didn't.

I mean look at what they did for Sugar O'Malley. Sugar is fighting for the title, but style-wise, he has never fought someone who is as tough as Gordon, and I include Yan in that too, because for me, Yan got robbed, but I thought Yan was a win-win fight for Sugar. I don't think highly of Sugar, but he's actually a talented striker, and his length and speed obviously could pose problems, especially in 3 round fight.

Maybe Paddy will pull it off, I hope he will, but these match making for their UK cashcows makes little sense to me.
