Haha thats awesome man. I thought the background and elephant ear Rogan was a movie I hadn't seen like Harry Potter or something.
Just before Rogan pops up to smoke looks like a ghost flies along the building where he is. And after Mech Cormier walks by I noticed Rogans face color changes to a much grayer color for a split second. I kept thinking what does it all mean? Turns out a lot of luck combined to make an awesome shoop.

Are you seeing the front Elephant Rogan changing colors for one frame? Some how, some way, in one of the conversions from avi to w/e, the very last frame lost it's overall tone. If you look even closer, you can see that EVERYTHING loses it's tone in that frame.

At that point I decided to quit. I wanted to delete that frame but it lost it's smooth looping effect. Probably could have semi fixed it by putting one of the Elephant Rogan .pgn's on top of it, but I was tired. It's so subtle, so good eye in noticing it. And yes there is a ghost. Just a ghost with nothing special.

One day I took 6 hits of acid and decided to break out the Photoshop... Nah. Jk.

Long story, plus I tend to over explain. I had a single idea of making Rogan's head fly, so I used a video of an elephant with it's ears flapping to make Rogan's wings. I was like "That's cool as shit", but I was stuck. I stared and stared and stared and stared at it and was like "Now WTH do I do with it?". Found that random background image from Google image. Plopped Elephant Rogan on it and said "That looks cools as shit", but it needs more (at every step just insert "That looks cool as shit, but now WTF do I do with it?" followed by a lot of blank staring at the screen).

I already had that man running on all 4's so I stuck him in there and decided to Bisping it as an afterthought. It started growing and growing with the lightning in the background, the sideways flying Rogans, the dog, and the fires which are just fires from videos.

I got lucky in the placement of the Mech Cormier where it's motion path looked pretty good the first time. The right side Zombie I was gonna make Aldo with Conor snipering him from a window. Decided that might offend some people so I abandoned that idea. I used Flash and randomly placed the right side Zombie and by sheer luck the Zombie fell just as Mech Cormier was passing by. This was a sign from the Gods and only meant one thing. The right side Zombie HAD to be Jones. :icon_chee

Added the Shad Zombie (afterall it needed a Shad face right?) and found a decent place to make him walk. Added the Rogan smoking upstairs and the ghost. So yea, "That looks cools as shit but now WTH do I do with it?", lots of blank staring and "WEE! Look what I can do!" sums it up.

Joke, i read it all and it's really fascinating, i recognize that thing of the good ideas popping up as you go and how it all suddenly makes sense, i have about 0,3% of your talent but i like to do these things too. I've been browsing through a little and you're without doubt one of the most talented and imaginative shoopers i've seen. Anyway the animation had an awesome eeriness to it (had to take a screenshot and examine the ghost, if there was another easteregg in there somewhere, with your attention to detail it wouldn't surprise me!. If it was a trailer for a movie, i would pay to see it.

That's great. Rogan is always up in your face during a staredown, and it looks like Browne is in the middle of a staredown. Or maybe that's the look on his face before he hapa's someone like he did to Josh Barnett.

Oh, I think this is the first time I've seen RR look concerned about something. Usually it's more of a pissed off look.

TY Mike Mike. Learned alot by watching you. I picked up a lot of your small innuendos from your shoops that turned them from great to fantastic. So, I have you to thank for that. Didn't think anyone would see the pulsating glow of the joint. The light in the room also pulsated as he puffed but I guess the gif conversion or w/e messed that up. PS, your last shoop is just plain gross!! :wink::wink:

Lotta hard work. Quite a few times saying "F this" only to come back 5 minutes later. For me with PS , it's mostly mental determination (by far), along with watching others, and Googling on how to do such and such. It almost embarrasses me or makes me blush when people compliment me. But I do thank you for your kind words. I believe I revealed all the surprises in the picture. Could have gone further but it got to the point where I had so many layers, movies, tween, opacity changes, masks, etc. Towards the end even simple mistakes like accidentally nudging something 1 pixel (or less) in the wrong direction were drastic.

I guess like anything in life, stress can either drain you or motivate you. Not to sound like Confucius or anything, but you're your own worst enemy and perhaps own biggest competition. When I am determined to do something, stress is or can be a factor but the determination tends to overcome. When I have to do something shitty, like cleaning my house, stress gets in the way.

edit: oh yea saving a lot and auto save. that relieves a lot of stress.

Haha, i understand perfectly. That's lovely how your determination works, do you ever put a timelimit on yourself to finish something, or do you just keep going until you're happy with it? Do you often go back and think how you could have done things differently, or added something extra? Or do can you feel when you've reached your goal, like "yep that's kinda what i was shooting for, anything more now and it'll be too much"? Sorry for all the questions, i'm just interested
