Well, at least you didn't accidentally hit your brother's character right after he called for a bathroom break. Then you had to stand still until he hit yours back "just the same amount". However, it seemed he went microscopically overboard (like half a punch 
), and you protested because you were "so evenly matched", that "it mattered". He didn't agree, of course. Drama ensued , followed by fighting over the keyboard, each trying to deliver the "cop de grace".
