Shoe company with best design and quality

Read it and weep

I can’t afford those

It depends on what caliber of the shoe you buy, I like the midrange Nike’s over adidas but prefer the high end adidas over the Nike’s. Also new balance, ASICS and saucony all have superior builds for the $ imo.

running and athletic shoes ^

Red Wings

This is the correct answer for boots. I'm wearing mine now and I've had them for 6 years. All I've ever done is resole them once last year.

Objectively, new balance has the best shoes

I don't know but I've always loved Air Max, child labor be damned.

Sneaker wise Onitsuka Tiger.
Husband did a shoot in Japan for them like 8 years ago and my sneakers from it are still in great shape...and I've worn them loads.
Check out how nice these are.

I got some of these years ago, used them as gym shoes and they held up for 3-4 years of steady use. They still looked good too, kind of a blue/grey color combination.

I have a pair of red wing boots, Brogue Rangers which I don’t think they make any more, several pairs of Allen Edmonds work shoes and some very light woven Cole Haan sneakers for the summer. I’ve got dad Nikes for the gym, but I haven’t been since lockdown started. Won’t need new shoes for a while at this rate.

Before I clicked the link I thought Onitsuka Tiger must be some really expensive designer brand lol. Asics do make good running shoes.
Wouldn't have a clue how much they cost at the time, but they make some damn good trainers, which yeah 8 years later have a lot of longevity.

New Balance (casual/running) or Nike (gym/basketball).

Like Redwings for safety shoes. Casual shoes are Puma, and before Puma it was New Balance.

Yo homie New Balance is no joke. I’m a large man who covers a lot of ground at work. New Balance is all I buy. Thick soles for the knees and back, all white or all black color scheme for attracting ladies who never knew they wanted to fuck an old man, and quality american craftsmanship.

For the price, you can't beat Timberland's quality and comfort. Put on a pair of Vans and then put on a similar pair of Timberlands and the difference is night and day.

I don't think Vans are designed for walking around while most Timberlands are.
I may be wrong.

And the wide widths are just right for us old guys that are girthy...
