Media Shocking, Lorenz Larkin beat Joe Rogan kick score record

You called him a "trained killer" in this very thread. You don't go against any of the narratives Rogan puts out on the internet, which means you genuinely believe he is the hardest(I guess 2nd hardest now) kicker in the entire world.

If you didn't call Rogan a fighter you did something 10x more retarded, so trust me you got bigger issues to deal with.

I have no respect for people who choose to lower their own IQ's like that.
No

I said that the vast majority of fighters and martial artists respect him and acknowledge his ability. But you apparently know more than trained killers.

Reading comprehension is your friend.

You're just goalpost shifting and attacking a strawman. Nothing you say makes sense.

Now apparently I believe the "narratives" Rogan puts out, whatever that means and also believe he's the hardest kicker in the world.

Rogan is a life long martial artist, his TKD background was very legit, he has some very solid kicks and also holds a black belt under the Machado's.

Which is true

There's nothing to argue here. You're just embarrassing yourself at this point.

He's a national champion in TKD. MJW says he has the best spinning back kick he's ever seen. Pretty much every fighter or martial artist who's ever commented on him has praised his ability.

But I guess you know better than actual trained killers.
Trained with Rogan at Legends MMA from 05-08’ (legends was original home to 10th planet and was owned by Randy and Bas prior to Xtreme Couture) Rogan was a Brown Belt at the time and routinely beat competitive Black Belts. We had everyone from Rampage, Couture, Mayhem, Dan Hardy, Karo, Mac Danzig etc etc in the gym with us every day training. Rogan holds his own, people just love to hate on the guy for whatever reason. I went in there initially thinking I would serve him since he’s just some Hollywood actor (in my mind when I first got there) but was shocked at just how strong his grappling was. He was also very humble and worked hard with pros every single day and was a incredibly nice dude. Even gave me tickets to fights regularly and I was just some broke ammy fighter. He’s a solid human being and a talented martial artist.

Doing TKD as a child and being a national champion is a very different thing.

It's widely known that TKD offers one of the best bases for kicks out of the traditional martial art spectrum.

Look at Yair Rodriguez, who's currently one of the most impressive kickers in the sport.

Rogan used to be a high level competitor in his particular art. As well as a teacher.

Nobody claimed that he's a tangibly functional striker. Especially as a 50 year old man, sparring against a world renown Muay Thai champion.

Winning something once as a child isn't really relevant to anything as an adult

We are talking about adult Rogan, and adult Rogan is horrible

Those are his real striking skills.

Here you have his real grappling skills.

I had a hard time finding this gif on google, gee I wonder why? He really does try to remove content like this online to preserve his phony tough guy image.

Haha my god I'd forgotten all about that

Good old midget tossing, should be made a national sport

Why did UFC ever let Larkin go? He's always fun to watch. His last elbow ko in Bellator was vicious.

Why did they let Albert Tumenov go for that matter? Or Saidyokub Kakhramonov? Or Mousasi? Or Bader? They don't give a rats ass. To think of all the low level cheap fighters they sign and all the top promotional talent in other promotions they don't even bid for.

So he's horrible because of a flow sparring session against a world renown Muay Thai champion as a 50 year old man.

Not only that, but all of his martial arts training is invalidated. The title he won competing in TKD( as an adult ) means nothing, his black belt in jiu jitsu means nothing and he is unworthy of any credibility whatsoever as a martial artist.

Profound

First, utterly irrelevant he's against a world champion because that world champion is going about 5% if that, so false argument. It's how Rogan reacts to the little.play taps he gets touched with, he's like a total novice who has never been hit before

So if you react like that to being tapped very lightly, then yes, all your martial arts training is invalidated as when you get hit with a real punch you will react even worse. I don't know what is worse than blocking the punches with your face and turning around, I guess he will just get knocked out in the first exchange

Appreciate the mature, knowledgeable, respectable post. I think most know Joe is legit.

People who actively go out of their way to discredit him as a martial artist are just beacons of insecurity.

Weak character and spirit does this kind of thing. Not someone who's confident and secure in themselves.

Wait a minute...

You can't just roll up in here with real shit and expect these nerds to recognize!

My best guess is the UFC thought he wasn't worth the money Bellator was offering him. IMO they were wrong.

These guys who fucking love Joe Rohan are really weird and I would never hang out with one under any circumstances ever.
I would say anybody who loves or hates him is weird if they don’t actually know him.

I disagree. I think a really broad group of people could come together to hate Rogan for a number of reasons—almost all of them carrying some validity.

Whereas I think the people who love him are a specific personality type and that type of person sucks ass.
