It’s pretty solid. Last four fights should be a lot of fun. Then we have Canelo vs Smith.

Do you think Smith poses much threat to Canelo? I would say no, but Smith was fairly impressive in destroying Groves, and it's a small middleweight Vs a pretty huge one.

Oh yeah, and Canelo didn't exactly look great against a shot Kovalev before suddenly blasting him out.

Still, Smith hasn't really done anything or beaten anyone to suggest he's at this level, so probably Canelo by KO.

Canelo has beaten much better boxers than Smith. So unless his skills dropped off a cliff overnight this shouldn't be a difficult night for him.

Pretty much my thoughts. Size only matters when skill level is similar, otherwise when there's a gulf in skill/talent, the smaller fighter destroys the bigger fighter 9/10.

I was just a little surprised when I saw them side by side. I forgot Smith is 6'3, and Canelo is about 5'8, at best.

Size can matter so I think it’s an intriguing fight. Canelo is just the more skilled guy and I expect him to get the job done. Canelo was far too patient against Kovalev but he still carries his power against bigger guys. Smith has no chance of winning on the cards — so he basically has to get a knockout and I don’t see that happening. I think Canelo wins a decision or gets a stoppage in the third or fourth quarter of the fight, but there’s enough here to make the match up compelling.

If it was anyone else other than Canelo with that size difference i would probably pick Smith. But Saul is a fucking beast and i cannot pick against him for the same reason i couldn't pick against a Prime Tyson even if some of the guys he fought dwarfed him by quite a bit

Yes it's a perfect follow up to the UFC card.

And we're almost fully quarantined here in Quebec. Everything has been closed (bars , restaurants etc) since the 17th and we cannot have private gatherings (can get fined for it) because of Covid so a good night of fights like tonight is very welcome. Gonna drink (well i already started) whisky and watch guys eat leather in the face all night long lol

Here they lockdowned up from december 17th to january 11th because they are afraid that christmas gatherings will contribute to a drastic increase of Covid cases in January.

Basically they just shutdowned christmas and new year eve. You can still celebrate but only with your family and only if you live in the same house. It sucks
