Seriously, how do you justify a stoppage that fast?

I was talking to a guy well versed in JMMA at Invicta 33 (he’s lived in Japan and visits quite often). I thought Rizin was trying to prop up Watanabe, whereas he argued it makes more sense for them to build up Sugiyama, as her husband is in the UFC, she’s the more attractive, etc. well, I think the fight result and ultra fast stoppage swings the argument in my favor. What say you?

Sugiyama looked totally dismayed by that early stoppage, and it seemed as if Watanabe started to feel a bit bad after seeing how distraught she was. That's definitely one of the most premature stoppages I've ever seen, it was called off the moment she hit the ground.
