anyone know if his DVDs are subtitled in english?

 

No they aren't.

 

i have them both there japanese--- but good quality production --you can understand whats going on/ how to do the techniques from watching it

 

I've seen English subtitles floating around on the Internet

 

does he show anything that you couldnt see in an eddie bravo instructional? cuz eddies stuff is in english...

 

Eddie's is better but Aoki doesn't cover much Rubber guard in the one I saw. Alot of the first one I saw was of him doing alot more unorthodox setups to subs and shit.

First on is both gi/nogi and covers throws, brabo choke and some other things I forgot.

I am currently studying the secon one and it is much more focused. It's all nogi and goes through mostly one-arm-in chokes; anaconda, brabo, guillotine variants. Some pretty interesting stuff going there...

 

I saw the nogi judo stuff on youtube, that and the "spinning" aka brabo choke. Both were very cool, even discounting the budget subtitles. haha I'll stick to the free stuff for now.
