I don't know how discussing/comparing NXT and WWE is any different than debating Raw vs. Smackdown during the brand split, or Diet Coke vs. Coke Zero, or Ride the Lightning vs. Master of Puppets. Yeah, it's the same company, but it's a different product.

I was talking in a more wider scale than that article. There are people who act as if NXT "doesn't really count as a part of WWE", because it's now the "cool" thing to watch. Even though NXT as had entertaining characters and storylines long before the indie guys turned up, but now the bandwagon has filled up nicely.
