For me personally, Amanda Nunes has the undisputed greatest resume in women's MMA. She has beaten every other UFC champion above 115 pounds save Nicco Montano. She's also beaten some Bellator champions. Despite this, I believe Shevchenko is better in the fictional universe of pound for pound. She had two very close fights with Nunes, despite a huge size disparity. That would be roughly equivalent to Michelle Waterson-Gomez, who has fought at atomweight, moving up and giving Shevchenko a hard fight. While Nunes does hold the 2-0 edge, one cannot ignore the size difference if we're talking pound for pound. I believe, if size were equal, Shevchenko would have won both of those fights. Feel free to disagree, there's no way we can know, anyway, which is why GoAT and pound for pound are silly arguments to get wrapped up in.

Regardless, she kind of blew it. She had the positions but didn't capitalize on anything, just hoping she was scoring enough to steal the rounds. Ketlen Vieira fights the same way. So boring. They don't even do damage. They are always the one that look like shit at the end of the fight. You shouldn't win a fight if you look like you got your ass whopped while your opponent doesn't even have a scratch on their face.

Erin, maybe Tatiana if she looks good today, maybe Fiorot if she grows some balls and challenge her or even Taila in a rematch if she fights smartly. I'm her fan but Shev's days seem to be numbered. Very dangerous division to be champ these days

Tbh Valentina has fought the very very best of each weightclass and she only lost to Amanda (who is bigger) but it was a split desicion and a lot of ppl think she won (it was split desicion for a reason)

Amanda has fought the very very best too but she lost to Zingano and to Peña and those weren't even close, she got finished in both of those fights.

So there could be an argument.

Tatiana is going back to SW after this fight. And Fiorot is kinda shit ngl. Our only hope is Erin

Shevchenko is in a point of her career where she needs opponents that ppl think actually have the chance to beat her.

That's exactly what she needed.

The thing is most of those girls were original and natural 125lbs fighters, but the UFC didn't have that division yet when they joined it, the UFC only had 115 ad 135 so they had to pick one
