Under review Sherdog 2% -- Multiple rigs tested

I got no complaints 'cause I'm a dial up child for it's time -- but the forums -- not website -- are literally ranked in my lowest 2% of all sites visited. That's performance, load time, response time, ping etc -- not to be nerdy, but it almost feels like I am personally throttled with shit., specific to HERE. I was a vBulletin dev -- it's like you put a delay on the account outta spite lol.

Out of the hundreds I hit each day, on a 7900x/4080/32g/2tb setup -- you are in the lowest of the performance (response time) and shit has to be checked numerous times -- and this is both firefox (used for coding dissection) and chrome. All of this on a 1gig line -- central MN -- spectrum line.

The old 3900x/3070/16g/1tb plugged in also yields shit results for any browser -- so if yer just gonna blame "ad blocking", at least state so.

I can post the graphs and scales -- but it's literally ad-city, and attempted placements that quite honestly make no sense. I really don't want to break down what is getting blocked -- or is nefarious (in my 30 years of knowledge) to point it out.

I'm sure that "OMG GO PREMIUM YA SCRUB" will be a resounding answer.

Any thoughts? Why ya do this? Ya literally make shit crawl in comparison to the other 98%.

It's been like this the last two days. It's nothing to do with your setups, I don't know why it's running so slow but yes it's annoying. At one point, a Sherdog tab crashed and it said there was an issue with Cloudflare but I don't know. If there is an update from tech, we will post it.

9800X3D/7900XTX/64GB/2TB - my desktop. Same issue on my laptop (ASUS G14 with 5070ti)

Yeah well -- I custom build PC's and rigs lol -- it's TRACKABLE. They gotta look @ cloudflare issues, because it asks and shits out way more "verify" requests than it should.

If it's hosting/hardware/software related, because there literally might be 50k people hammering it -- it's doing a shit job, and I'd love to know the server specs. Xenforo is also shit, along with how many ads are live at a given time. I was a vBulletin dev from 1-4.

I run and host gaming servers as a hobby. Glad I ain't the only one to see the shit sir.

Side note -- I'd love to take a look / help -- it's fuckin' -15F in MN. Long cold winter ;)

Unsure if its just me but all other sites are fine. This site buffers for 5 to 10 seconds every click. Just wondering if its because of a change to site or my phone just doesn't like Sherdog.

It's not just you. Slow as cold molasses.
 
It's slow... But the top guys are aware of the issue and hopefully it will be sorted out soon...

Started late last week but not that bad - just started getting slower everyday to point its not fun anymore. But if anyone can get to bottom of this Kowboy can !
 
Me too. Pages are taking at least 5 seconds to load, almost 10 seconds sometimes.
 
It’s so slow I starting worrying about Sherdog’s future. 😢

It's getting worse instead of better.

If I spend more than a moment on a particular page in a thread, I can't like or post because i get an "opps a secirity error occurred" until I refresh; then I have to wait for the cloudfare "checking if you're human message"; then I still get that fucky splash screen where you have to click on "continue to sherdog" half the time. And as of just a little while ago, the site has gotten even slower than before.

It's pretty nigh on to unuseable at this point.

Edit: I neglected to mention that just now I got a server timeout message trying to load a page.
