Awards Sherdog’s 2025 Ms. All-Violence: Joselyne Edwards

Joselyne Edwards transformed herself into an undercard demon for the Ultimate Fighting Championship and did so seemingly out of nowhere.




The onetime King of the Cage champion extended an unexpected run of finishes inside the Octagon with a pair of stirring knockouts over the past 12 months. Sherdog editors and contributors recognized the considerable wreckage Edwards left in her wake and named the 30-year-old Panamanian the inaugural Ms. All-Violence for 2025. The annual award was created in honor of former Sherdog administrative editor Jordan Breen, who died in June at the age of 38.

Edwards kicked off her campaign of destruction at UFC on ESPN 66, where she put away Chelsea Chandler with punches in the first round of their women’s bantamweight prelim on April 26 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Chandler, who had never before been finished, succumbed to blows 2:31 into Round 1.
