just rumors so far.

i want to play it again.
hopefully i like it this time around.
i just remember how annoying not remembering the streets and slow it was.
Yakuza was good though.

I would say I'd hope they're updated similar to the Yakuza Kiwame games but I'm a little concerned about the new game so matching the engine might not even matter.

I want to stay optimistic and I hope 3 is fucking amazing.

I am pretty hyped for Shenmue 3 but let me just say this about the first 2 games...

If you have a decent PC you can download a Dreamcast emulator called NullDC and play both games on it at 1080p with antialiasing that literally makes it look remastered. I have my wireless Xbox 1 controller hooked up and max AA turned on and I had a hell of a time replaying them on my projector. For Shenmue II you do need to install a voiceover pack because the DC version only had Japanese tracks but it's very easy to do so.

Here are some screenshots I just took. Unfortunately, I kept overwriting my saves so I had to take them all in the same spot for the 2nd game and for the 1st game since it doesn't let you continue a cleared save, I had to start a new one.

Keep in mind I have fullscreen supersampling AA that even the remakes wouldn't have and it takes a massive GPU. But tell me that this doesn't look better than how you remembered.
