Next fight is a number 1 contenders bout vs Belal, Colby or Burns. It's nice that Shavkat is a prospect who I think can deliver, those are all tough fights but ones I'd expect him to win. Even Leon or Usman, he can get it done. Not an easy road ahead of him but I know how badly he wants to bring the belt back to Kazakhstan and how much it means to his country. I want to see it!

I mean, I think most people here have been on the Shavkat hype trane for awhile now. He looks good, and is showing improvement, but still seems to have a few things to work on. I'm still onboard. He's interesting to watch.

Yes, he is a warrior...but gauging him at top 5 changed at this fight...before, did not know wth to think about him...but now...I think he does well against Leon or Colby but...problems vs Khamzat, Burns, or Usman.

With that...he can grow from this...he has a chin and endurance like no other...if he is smart from this fight...he beats Colby and Leon and shows up smart vs Usman, Burns, and Khamzat...he has all the potential to not be a top 5 but top 3....last fight was ver careless imo.

Very possibly end of 2023, he will fight 1 more time and then for the title most likely. That's not even a optimistic take, Shavkat vs Colby/Belal/Burns ideally sometime between July/September and then a title fight if he wins that (presumably by finish) November-February. He's just gotta win the next one. Nobody is more interested in some other contender either, ya know? He is the next guy everyone wants to see unless Khamzat decides to come back down to 170lbs which seems unlikely.
