Shavkat is kinda getting exposed here

great fight! no doubt FOTN so far, I do agree with ppll saying he has 0 head movement, that may fuck him against the elite guys, he has room to improve, but man he's fun to watch
 
Absolute best fight of the night and my new favorite emergent fighter. Shav is a blessing. Reminds me of post-Dagestan Sakuraba. I love it.

I’m certain Shavkat’s boxing will improve, but he ate the power of one of the best boxers at 170.
 
Tough matchup for Shavkat. Neal has has some of the best striking at WW with real power and very good TDD. I think Shavkat will do better against grapplers with average striking like Burns, Belal and Colby. His grappling looks good enough to keep it standing and he will outstrike them on the feet.

He needs to be a little more responsible though.

I'm on the Shavkat hypetrain now too. I knew he was real good but this really got me onboard. Amazing fight and performance

Neal is regarded as the powerhouse of the division. If he could stand and trade with Neal, don't you think he could do it with anyone? I wonder what's your problem with the man.... Is it cause he looks Asian ?

Wonderboy is def a better striker, Burns and Chimaev can crack and defending with your face against them spells trouble. Leon and Usman have power too

His style kinda reminds me of Jiri but with more discipline. And I don't think anyone besides Gilbert is making him pay for his defense at the top of WW.
 
All it takes is one fight to make an unbeatable fighter look mortal. It’s a reminder that a-n-y-b-o-d-y can get knocked out (even if I’m this example he didn’t).

Regardless, let’s keep the train going.

he needs more head movement and to hide behind his jab a bit more. Still very impressive though
