(I wasn't sure that the boxing forum was the best place for this thread, since we mainly talked about Ken vs Quinn here in the WW)

Remember that BKB fight Ken Shamrock was supposed to take against James Quinn McDonagh?
Well Ken pulled out of the fight (I like Ken, but it wasn't a surprise for anyone)....

But we will soon (on June 11, 2016, Miami, Florida) see James Quinn's rival,
[21-6 in boxing and 66-0 in BKB] Bobby Gunn, take on "The Cannon", the man with the most MMA fights after Travis Fulton (and a bunch of kick-boxing bouts).

Other MMA fighters are rumored to fight with their bare hands on that card, like Eric Prindle and Josh Burns; let's see how it shapes up.

Article on the card and BKB in general: http://www.bjpenn.com/mma-news/exclusive-interviews/bare-knuckle-boxing-returns-to-the-usa/

Well well, interesting. Despite having serious doubts about Shamrock vs James Quinn happening, I was still interested and would have found a way to watch it.

WAR SHANNON
CannonBJJ FTW

That dude just fights anyone, anywhere huh?

Isnt he fighting Vyacheslav Vasilevsky in Russia this weekend? He's crazy lol.

Haha he is indeed fighting "Slava", didn't realize it was this week end. Jeff Monson is on the card too.

Damn, brutal:
"Tapology Community Predictions: 70
Vasilevsky 97%
Ritch 3%
"
Slava held his own pretty well against Shlemenko and is a pretty good and well-rounder fighter but still...

But anyone anywhere indeed ^^
IF: You said that you do this to test yourself. Are you wanting to set a record for most fights?
SR: No. You know, that was a little joke that I had with Travis Fulton a couple years ago but I dont think Ill ever catch that guy. He fights every weekend. I fight every other weekend. [laughs]

It's not his first no-gloves experience, for example he fought

with no gloves, he lost but Parker was a HW to be fair.
Probably plenty of other dudes but he talked about this one in an interview.

I do wonder though where that record on the BJPENN.com article:
“The Cannon” is currently ranked #3 in the BKB world rankings and #1 in the United States.
comes from
