High level grappler with one round of cardio. Is it worth keeping these guys around? They are never going be contenders with that gaping hole in their physical ability.
I guess he can try to grapple when he's scared..maybe like Marlon MoraesIs he a high level grappler?
Always viewed him more as a striker.
To be fair, round 1 Makwan is a tough fight for any 145er on the planet.Ugh forgot about Makwhan, I bought into him having champ potential.
His base is wrestling but it's not very useful outside of the first round. Are we talking about edman? I never knew or thought of him as a grappler. Maybe I need to rewatch his fight library but I was under the impression he was an athletic striker who is kind of a quitter/gasser. Idk sherdog I'm getting old and probably suffering CTE from gym wars and casino fights lol

Not anymore. He's in Vegas now with Nicksick (sp).Doesn't he train with rondas coach? If he has he's probably met his ceiling as a fighter.
From what I've found his base is just MMA training at Glendale, then some wrestling in high school years laterHis base is wrestling but it's not very useful outside of the first round.
Flaws exposed in the Brunson fight have not been patched up even after years and a camp move later. He's also only managed to beat two guys since, Lungiambula and Dobson, who were not even close to the top 25 in the division. He’s still only 26
What age does cardio start to improve? He's 11 fights and 6 years into his UFC career. He’s still only 26
