I get that his money dictates him being so cringy...but outside of that. hes a BAD MOTHER FUCKER man. he really is. listening to him coach Costa and any time i get a chance to see the man behind the cringe. its amazing. Hes truly one of combat sports goats and i wish he got more respect overall. That fight vs Marlon was so bad ass. Kneeing irritating ass cruz "right in the face" lol. Cutting the snakes head off in less than a minute.Beating MM by decision (to me that seems harder than getting a finish) Im pulling for him vs Volk..its a tough fight for him..But we could really be talking about THE GOAT GOAT. What if he sleeps volk lol? would you be willing to say hes the best ever?

Henry fan since day 1

How often you see such a high-level specialist grappler , especially in wrestling, that took learning striking very serious and got very good with it. Even in his debut with the UFC I was pretty impressed with his striking level at that point.

Dude's a stud, but yeah, all that silly stuff makes me skip any portion of whatever video he's in; just like with Conor. It's all foolishness.

Henry is Top 5 in greatness...without a doubt..

Knocked out three midgets and you're pumped up?

King of Cringe CCCejudo, soon to be CCCC.

Seriously tho, i wouldnt be mad if this fight gets made, and Volk might not be that much taller than him, if he gets manhandled, well, its a 125er reaching for 145 gold, what was supposed to happen?

If he beats Volk then he proves to be the GOAT in terms of skill, and probably GOAT resume. Obviously he never cleared out a division but winning champs in 3 divisions would mean a lot. He already is one of the most skilled and adaptable fighters I've ever seen. He fucking morphed into Conor McGregor against Wilson Reis, pressured and flatlined TJ right out of the gates, overcame the leg kicks of Moraes with boxing and ground and pound, then implemented the perfect leg kick heavy strategy against Cruz.

Cejudo's accomplishments are impressive...but there is much room to grow if he wants to truly belong in GOAT discussions (specifically, more defenses).

Parachuting into an undeserved title shot with Volk would be ridiculous. IMHO, it would be more of chasing an accolade than a substantial accomplishment when there are a LOT of contenders at 135 that Cejudo should have defended against, plus he would have beaten ZERO contenders at 145 to actually earn that shot. It would be a win over a legit guy, for sure...and it technically is a title in a third division...but not earning that shot and not defending means that it is not nearly the boon to his legacy that it could be.

Conor and GSP face similar (albeit different from each other) criticisms for their 2nd division titles. The wins are legit...the way they got those shots, and not defending afterwards, means that they should not factor in too strongly into their overall legacies, IMHO. GSP is a GOAT candidate because of his overall WW record, number of defenses, calibre of competition throughout his career, etc...not so much because he beat Bisping in a one-off MW title fight. Conor's in-cage legacy lies primarily at 145 too.

haha, that second one with faber i hadn't seen. good stuff!

cejudo is cringy, because it's the one thing that caught on with him. it was a gimmick the crowd instantly got, and he stuck with it.

In terms of prime for prime, current Cejudo is imo one of the best fighters ever and the scary thing is he's getting better.

Hendo in the back laughing like Shogun giggling at Conor's pose.
