Dude, what legitimacy? Jones didn't even beat the champ, he waited 3 years until he was out to fight for a vacant belt. The champ is whoever has the belt, if he retires and Pav gets it, then he is the champ. Jones demanded "15 millions to fight Ngannou" and now they say he fought Gane for just 8 millions? Who knows how much he wants for Pavlovich?

Hey there brother I’m absolutely agreeing with you in regards to the belt being ridiculously gifted to Jones with an ideal stylistic matchup against Gane coming off an atrocious L. Then there’s Jon who was coming off 3 years of inactivity and never even stepping in the cage to fight at HW. The UFC of course has the marks believing that they replaced the champ who walked, with the GOAT, also that his upcoming fight with Stipe is HW GOAT vs LHW GOAT, it’s ridiculous that both fighters are probably 5 years past their best. I personally don’t believe that the baddest man on the planet has the belt, IMO Sergei needs to be vocal and active, if he takes another fight and flatlines the opponent I doubt that the promotion would ignore the obvious elephant with a rhino dick trunk.

Empathetically calling for the UFC to put together the Cyril Gane fight, maybe main or co-main either UFC 290, FN London or 294… Sitting idle waiting on the TS won’t get him Jones, it may get him the TS eventually, but his legitimacy as the champ would be questionable, besides Sergei would most likely be fighting Gane anyway. If the fight happens and he wins by the KO, it would put the needed pressure on the UFC and Jones to take the fight, otherwise the mainstream would be onto Jon asking the UFC for senior citizen fights, while absurdly ducking the obvious best contender.

In all honesty even if Sergei were to loose it really wouldn’t set him back, with the eminent retirements of Stipe and Jones, he will get another crack at the title regardless.

Gane doesn't deserve to be on preliminary maintenance events.

Gane will get destroyed, he needs to step down a bit, his last fight made him look like as if he doesn't belong with the top guys lol, also Sergei deserves title shot, the guy who's 6-0 in his last 6, winning all of his fights by Knockout in the first round, and won his last fight by Knockout just recently in the first round, and ranked No. 2 (he should be No. 1 in fact), winning all fights by Knockout, fought 4 times in the last 13 months doesn't get title shot, but Stipe who's 2-2 in his last 4, hasn't won a fight since August 2020, and lost his last fight by KO, and hasn't fought for more that 2+ years gets a title shot? the UFC has became an absolute circus, just like how when the UFC now wants to give Colby a title shot over Belal, or when the UFC almost gave a title shot to Pena despite dominant loss, the UFC has became the new WWE fr, and the Dana White Privileges is fr too, it's like since when Tony mentioned it at UFC 262 press conference, Dana couldn't believe it to actually make this true!!!! where he make fighters have his privilege, and discard others and curse them.

The fact that we have to sit here and talk about BS politics and pseudo WWE storyline scripts involving Jones, which prevent the undisputed No. 1 HW contender from a title shot, just proves once again what a joke this organization is.

If DC decided to come back I am sure Dana would immediately book the title fight, putting Sergei on the side lines for 1.5 years.

Btw did Dana ever officially confirm that Sergei is next in line for a title shot? I am damn sure he didn't.
