Semi the Jedi Signs New UFC Contract

According to an interview with Matthew Semelsberger on the Elliot in the Morning radio show this morning, Semi the Jedi has signed a new contract with the UFC. Semelsberger said his most recent fight against Martin Sano was the last on his existing contract. Semelsberger did not disclose any details about his new UFC contract, but said the competition was about to level up.

Definitely has earned it! 3/4 of his UFC fights were exciting for one reason or another - two KO's in less than a minute, and one all-out war with a well-regarded WW in Williams. When he signed as a 6-2 dude, I thought he was another of the 'class of covid' who would go 0-2 and be cut, how wrong I was. He's a bit of a character, too.

His post-fight speech made me nervous. Seems to have more brain trauma than Diego Sanchez.
Not sure how that affects fighting career, though.
Also, he crushed a guy who had not only never fought in the UFC before, but hadn't fought at all in ten years!
Still hoping for the best. Always interesting to see how Jewish fighters fare.

Rumble has two 13 second ones, but he's the only one AFAIK.

This is true of at least two of his opponents. Carlton Minus had zero business in the UFC either.
