Seems like Conor's haters are allergic to the words "money" and "business"

In the classic provider/consumer capitalist model you are talking about, the provider owes the consumer nothing. they are not legally or morally obligated to provide what you demand in the slightest. So where does that leave you?

It leaves me with all the other goods and services, aka all the other fighters who will fight.

The consumer owes nothing unless they get what they want, so here we are. Conor won't give me a show, then I'll get it from Tony and khabib.

Floyd got $30 million for his last fight with Berto that did 300k PPVs. Conor is averaging between 1-1.5 million buys, probably more now due to the Floyd fight. All the losers on here saying he should just sign whatever shitty contract the UFC put in front of him when he has all the buying power are morons who do not understand the concept of having power over the people you work for/with. I don't blame conor one bit for milking it for all it's worth, let's see the UFC break a million buys without him...they won't, therefore he has the power.

Again, losers who flip burgers for a living will never understand this level of contract negotiations so they constantly accuse Conor of ducking, it's inane. If I have a product that is highly valuable, why the fuck would I sign a contract that lets you make all the money from it?

The shitty Berto fight was the outlier in his contract. Prior to that, Floyd was extremely bankable, which was why he got so much for that Berto fight.

Most people on the forum have a basic understanding of how PPV revenue is shared. So most will be able to take out a calculator drill down to what they might think a reasonable % of that revenue for Conor might be. Of course the only person whose opinion really matters is Conor. So he will have to decide.

I just hope whatever happens happens quickly enough to not continue holding up other fights. But that is really on the UFC's shoulders more than anyones.

The UFC won't ever pay him anything close to the amount he got vs Floyd though. He was so lucky he got that fight, called out a retired fighter and still got his ass beat.

Face it; he is ducking both Khabib and Tony.

Funny that mma fans are more interested in fighting than fighters bank balance.

The business should cater to the fans, not the other way around, you weirdo.

The fans, especially the hardcores like ourselves helped build the damn sport. Then we have filthy casuals telling us about the "business"

...which only shows, of course, their level of maturity.

Every time they hear a valid point that Conor looks for business solution, that he brings more money to the UFC thus have the leverage, haters be whining ike:

"are you his accountant"?
"will he leave you something in his will for this post"?
"Are we in sherdog or in UFC financial meeting"?

News, kids:
Money rules the world.
Money owners rule money, world, sports, MMA and your lives.

However, not every person can have enough financial wisdom and thus his decisions won't mean much. For example, Tony Ferguson, or your parents.
Good god you’re like the guy who reads one issue of Bloomsberg and goes around posting on Facebook about “the value of the dollar” just to sound like he doesn’t live in his moms basement wacking off with his orange (possibly red if you like the flaming ones) Cheeto dust covered fingers, between l posting dumb shit on forums and catfishing dudes on tinder.

Did TS made this thread to just call everybody a hater, if he doesn't agree with his bs?

Lol, Amy is back!

Conor's noobiest cheerleader strikes again!!!

I didn't get into this cage punchy stuff to learn about keynsian economics. get in there and smash him or you're a weak coward. This game was more fun when fighter's lived above the gym and fought for a sandwich.

Nope. But i care about fights. And fighters fighting the best.

Not money or Instagram likes. That means nothing to me.

If so, i would rather be a fan of Bieber or kardashian

<bball1>
this should be the e3nd of the thread.
But unfortunately, Conor fanboys still did not grasp that we all understand he is making money.
But they are too immature to understand that he is doing it at the expense of the sport we like.

IMO it is because they are fuckheads who don't understand the implication to the sport. They are a fans of Conor, and not of MMA.

And we hardcore said for ages the fighters deserved more of the money generated
Now odd that when a few do ask for more of their rightful share 'fans' whinge
Before conor it was gsp
Before gsp it was anderson 'ducking sonnen rematch'...strange that they are always 'ducking ' by dana and casuals standards around the same times new contracts are being drawn up isnt it?

Fuck me
'The implications' to the sport are fighters asking for and getting a bigger % of what they bleed for!

quite the opposite.
Only COnor and the top fighters are making money (as it was always the case).
The only difference now is that we (the fans of the sport) are now prived from watching champions defending their belts while they chase old retired fighters or fighters from different divisions so they can "make money" instead of proving they are the best of their division.

You really need to wake up, kid.

And no, I won't fuck you. ;)

Because that's why people watch MMA. To worry about other people's money lol.

Really
We are pretending the top guys arent making more and more?
Or even mid level guys (minus what the reebok deal took from them)
We the fans will still get our fights as soon as dana stops being a skinflint
In boxing and mma this is normal and has been for some time

Also lol at trying to shit on what gsp just acomplished

You're an imbecile

OP is one of those people who will be defending the rich while they make money off him.

5 buck says if I search Op's search history 9/10 pages are probably filled with him talking about Conor non stop.
