You've not seen armed security? Any event I go to I've always been police or armed security

at airports

not at any random event..... if americans require armed security at all places it should be enough of a sign that guns are too readily available

I've never seen anything like it.

Wandering around in packs with rifles slung over their shoulders, in body armor.

yeah the security trying to stop Conor and his team were the UFC security

the older bald guy that grabbed the fence was the guy I met at UFC Glasgow..... he's cool, was talking to me and my girl for a good while as we waited to meet the guest fighters, asked if I gave him a fiver he would let me skip the cue.... he said "multiply that by 1000 and youve got a deal"

That seems unlikely to me. It certainly can't be true at actual events.

Security has gone through the roof in the past couple of decades. It's lower on non-event days I imagine but during events it seems unlikely the'd handcuff their security.

It goes without saying I don't actually know anything about this I'm just guessing.

I doubt most venues the UFC has a presence at have tons of armed guards walking around. That's not really a thing.
