While Robert Whittaker and Sean Strickland could be on a collision course, the latter has a clause.

Whittaker is eyeing a matchup against Strickland next, preferably in his home country of Australia. However, Whittaker predicted that Strickland might not want to travel to Australia, considering his history with the country’s government.

“I want to fight in Sydney,” Whittaker said on the MMArcade Podcast. “I would love to fight Strickland. I have been wanting that fight for a while. I think it’ll be a good fight… I don’t think he’ll come all the way to Australia though. I don’t think he has the best rapport with Australian government.”

Whittaker’s prediction was accurate. When an X account called Agent MMA conveyed Whittaker’s callout to Strickland, the American refused to fight outside of his home country again.

“Never fighting out of America again lol,” Strickland wrote.

When being a retard for social media clout dictates career decisions.

Fully understood Sean not accepting Rob's challenge before his DDP title rematch, but now he 100 % needs to step up And Fight, NOT just jab and teep like his last DDP fiasco.

Can't blame Anyone who doesn't want to fight in Australia because of the alleged tax bite that automatically makes Dana's fighters sacrifice financially by taking home a smaller pay day that they would get at home.

SEAN - accept Rob's callout at an acceptable venue, then FIGHT TO WIN. Every Round.

Would love to see Whittaker style on Strickland.

Yeah this is the biggest problem with Strickland, he doesn't fight to win, he lacks urgency, he just doesn't have urgency in fights where he is losing and does the same thing on loop which isn't working.

He had the same problem at WW as well against much smaller guys, just no urgency, there has been quite a lot of close'ish fights where he is losing and he doesn't have any urgency to let go, just keeps doing jab stare jab stare jab stare and a very occasional push kick lol.

All these fights he lost decisions where he has no urgency, just keeps doing the same thing when he is losing, its a huge flaw.

Cannonier
2 DDP fights
Not so much Usman because it was a clean loss (however still a lack of urgency to throw hard shots)

I’m just making sure, is the thing he lacks; urgency?

He doesn't fight to win which is exactly why he doesn't want to fight outside of the U.S because he knows he wont be able to auto pilot to a close decision and reliably get the nod if he fights anywhere else.

I'd love to see it. They've been at the top at the same time for a while now.

Also MVP vs Strickland interests me (3 rounds).
