Don’t pay him shit. 60k tops until he gets KOd again then banish him to the prelims for 15k a pop. Guys that make these demands off a massive upset win know they’re not staying on top for long.

You sound like Dana. Let's just keep moving the goalposts until these guys are out of their prime. Then we can say they were never any good. The man already won the world title and we got people out here still saying the payday should come even later.

You hate to see it.

Izzy was dismantled and owned hard over 5 rounds. We don't need the rematch. Let Izzy have an incredible performance in his next fight to show he's ready for the rematch.

Until then, Sean should fight anyone other than Izzy.

I personally think that DDP would be fire. Highly competitive, pleasing style of fight.

Cannonier would be ok too, but i'd prefer DDP since he's on a great streak right now.

Sucks but the Izzy rematch is what gets him paid. These other guys at MW don't have nearly the name value that Adesanya does to bring PPV's.

Rematch with Izzy is the biggest payday. Izzy is only second to Conor in popularity (based on Google trends)

Whoever his next opponent is it should be his biggest payday by a large margin. And he's definitely earned it after dismantling Izzy.

It’s only an upset because people don’t know what they’re talking about. Sean went in and dominated the fight because he’s better than Izzy, and anyone actually paying attention knew that before the fight.

Well odds were 5:1 so you should have bet the house and be sipping margaritas somewhere right? I wonder where these people were because they sure weren’t betting.

the recency bias on here is always good for a giggle

It should come later. Who wants to see titles held hostage everytime there’s a new champion?

Well blame the UFC for not paying guys. And stop being so dramatic. Nobody is holding anything hostage.

He should be paid like a man who just won the belt but hasn't defended it yet. Yeah he raised his stock but he has a long way to go before he can demand huge paydays. He should defend twice then renegotiate his contract.

fair enough

they chose this job. They get what they get. It’s never been a high paying job so stop bitching that it didn’t become one the second you become champion.
