I could've swore that ever since ESPN came into the scene fighters don't get ppv points anymore. Instead they negotiate about prospective buys. Fighters and promotion come to an agreement on pay before the Disney actually tallies up ppv. It's my understanding that ESPN guarantees the UFC a figure which then fingers l gets divided into the fighters. But it's ESPN that left holding the bag of the ppv undersells and they overpaid or they reap the benefits of negotiating a lower figure and having the ppv oversell. But I remember Brock Lesnar saying fighters aren't getting ppv points anymore and that's why he isn't coming back to the UFC. They get paid a flat purse fee.You only get PPV points as champion.
Or if you're Conor.
So Sean realizes he has to cash in before he loses that belt he broke and probably shot up.
