I enjoyed seeing that clash of cultures.
Strickland is definitely a fan, but still edgy enough to call out how awkward Diaz's permanent ganster is. Similarly, I love how consistent the Diaz's are when it comes to standing on business, they don't change for the camera because they are not doing it for the camera.
It is hard to appreciate them outside of their fighting prime, but it is important to respect them as "elders" (not age, but accomplishment). They survived a brutal life by embracing a brutal sport in a brutal time.
