So many posters here are criticizing this man on how he acts, wondering how a 34 year old man can act like an angsty teenager should look at his Sherdog page:
https://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Sean-Strickland-30452
This guy started his mma career in 2008 at the age of 17. Seventeen years old lads. He was clearly already using mma as a form of self medication/distraction all the way back then. He never had to change how he was acting because he never had to work any "real job". Combat sport is a wonderful thing in that regard because you can live whatever the fuck kind of lifestyle you want as long as you are winning. And he did alot of winning in his early career. Talent is the different with guys like Sean. Sean had talent which is why he won his first 15 fights. Imagine for a second that Strickland didn't have the talent he has though; and, instead of winning all those fights, he one some and lost some and never made it out of the regional scenes. Imagine a guy with his mental problems, but without the talent and the success. Yeah: that's a guy that would probably end up in prison, dead, tweaked out of his mind, and/or homeless going insane from lack of social interactions, talking to himself, etc. That would be Sean's life if not for the talent and success he has had.
Nick Diaz is similar; he probably would have been homeless on the streets if not for his talent and success.
