Sean O’Malley justifies cheating on his wife because he ‘Pays for everything’

Not at all. Someone putting up with shitty behavior doesn't make it good behavior. Just because Will Smith hasn't divorced his wife doesn't mean she's not an awful wife.

He said "she's never fine with it", so he's probably going to end up one of these guys fighting well after he should have retired when she decides she can just leave him and take half his stuff, and he's now on record admitting to constant cheating.

You are alleviating the wife/gf of fault though. If she isn't happy, it is her own fault for prioritizing money over fidelity. It isn't like she is destitute in some 3rd world country.

With regard to O'Malley, I meant more that the cultural backlash is minimal and the legal backlash is nonexisted. There are some objectively immoral things in our culture that are tolerated even if you are open and honest about them. Eating meat for example. I wouldn't say that O'Malley openly wanting to have sex with randoms is morally worse than that. And I definitely wouldn't compare it to things like rape that are harshly punished if others learn about them. The behaviours that are threats to civil society as you put it all involve dishonesty as they are all punishable by law.

For the record, as I said before, I don't see the point in a relationship without commitment. I would consider any relationship void as soon as someone cheated. Formally breaking up wouldn't even be necessary at that point. But what others do consensually isn't any of my business.

That's fine, but the dude the thread is about does have a kid who's going to have to get through school with their father being open about having no respect for his/her mother.
Lol you were really invested in this whole thing after saying you didn't care.
