Social Sean Hannity leaving Fox News?

^^^^ I like this post a lot.

Hannity does carry Republican water in extreme ways, but on "Trump Russia Collusion", his work is solid, because he relied on serious people that went and made FOIA requests and then reported on the amazing results. Honestly, people like Sara Carter should be getting Pulitzers for their work, which Hannity has showcased. Hannity may have just been in the right place at the right time. Most of the time his show is just the same repeated talking points, but over the last two years, he has broken legitimate significant news that CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, and NBC News have refused to report for ideological reasons. Hannity not only got to break huge stories, but also expose his competitors for being anything but a "Free Press".

The worst thing that will happen to Hannity is when this whole thing wraps up. He has ridden a sweet ass wave, fully barrelled for over 2 years, while his competitors have went over the falls and got pounded into the ocean floor. (Yes... I surf.)

Sara Carter is the shit.

Sara Carter is the shit.

It's ridiculous that she doesn't own a Pulitzer Prize, meanwhile they gave it to the Washington Post for reporting Fake News, which the Post had to later return as everyone realized they were given the prize for telling lies and not doing real journalism.

Also, Maxim should get involved with an expose'....

Not a fan of Sean Hannity but
Maybe he finally realized that FoxNews is a corrupt, propaganda network spouting bullshit like its corporate media counterparts in CNN, MSNBC.

I never really like Glenn Beck, but I respected the fact that he went out on his own...and didn't want to answer to any corporate over lords.
He is the embodiment of the corruption and propaganda spouting. If he's leaving it's because he is not allowed to do whatever he wants in his sandbox anymore. It was the same with Glenn Beck. Neither of them are at all fucking useful to society.

Sure they are, they make crazy people like you angry on a regular basis. That's got to count for something.

You are mistaking disdain and disgust for anger. It's understandable; less intelligent people have difficulty making these fine distinctions and, well, we've all read your posts. It's all good.

I cop to the crazy part; I freely admit it. It doesn't interfere with my perception of right and wrong, though, and Hannity is wrong in many, many ways.

From a Trdueau supporter such as yourself, I consider this a compliment.

Keep pretending you're not angry, it's working well.

@zebby23 I want to offer a slightly different reading into the news here. I don't think it's a matter of Fox wanting to change their flavor. I think this is more a sign of corporate media fragmenting. I could totally see Hannity doing something like Shapiro or Joe Rogan, having an internet based smaller operation so he doesn't have to deal with the staffing volume and management that a big outlet like Fox would have.

Think about it - he and Tucker Carlson are probably the top 2 pundits at Fox. They don't need Fox. They can cover their own content, control their own format and deal with sponsors at a smaller scale and possibly make even more money and definitely have more control over their product.

I know it's hard for your acne-scarred soul to appreciate, but I don't think about him at all unless a turd-burgler like you or a fellow critic mentions him. But keep projecting. It paints a pretty picture.

What they would lack would be all the network resources for production and protection from liability.

I really just don't want you to get any grey hairs over the matter. I'm surprised you're even so involved in American politics for a Canadian, not to mention you should be doing everything you can with your free time to help Trudeau, since he is being kicked to the curb in a matter on months.

Hannity has no education & used to paint houses. He'll be at Fox until they fire him.

Beck missed his calling as a for profit preacher.

That might make sense for some but consider their audience. Hannitys crowd is mostly boomers who still watch cable. There is significant drop off if you leave and try to tell them to switch over to a YouTube channel, podcast or something like patreon. I’d like to know how much less O’Reilly is making being forced on that platform. Others like Michael Savage have been slowly pushed over to it as well and I’m sure it’s hurting him. If it was a younger crowd, it could actually be an improvement but I doubt it in this case.

So you're assuming somebody who learned a trade and used it for work is uneducated? That's the same kind of elitism that draws blue collar workers away from the Left.

Right. Figuring out how to make a living = dumb.

Rupert Murdoch is in his late 80s and retiring soon, leaving his children (who lean further to the left politically) with control over Fox News. So you can expect a seismic shift in their political coverage and reporting in the near future; it'll likely become just like the other MSM outlets.

If (when?) Trump wins re-election and coverage starts veering toward MSNBC / CNN territory, I'm checking my news online at OAN and other places going forward.

Shepard smith is way better than hannity...way fucking better.

Also saw fox news yesterday....seems like they are trying to get "hip" and love saying the term dems.

Also there is some Israeli donating food commercial.....It claims Israelis need hella food, makes them look like africa.

A report out says that Sean Hannity is going to leave Fox News in 2021 as he and a couple other hosts are the only ones still supporting Donald Trump.

A Fox News staffer told Vanity Fair, “Sean doesn’t feel supported. He has no relationship with Lachlan [Murdoch]. Sean thinks, Wait a second, I was hired to get ratings and I get ratings, but now people are embarrassed about me? He feels Fox spends a lot of time supporting Shepard Smith but his show makes no money. That’s annoying to him.”

Hannity has lost significant sponsors like Pelaton and Cars.com and it is rumored that the Murdochs are looking to invest in more liberal leaning news outlets.

Apparently Hannity is upset that the Murdoch family no longer supports Trump and him, Laura Ingraham and the bowtie guy are the only ones still left pushing the Trump agenda.
