Indeed. I'm not sure what justification he could lawyer up in the court of public opinion that would have played well, but at least he wouldn't have revealed both that he is dishonest, and also that he is aware what he is doing is cruel.

After all, I'm not even someone who is against shock collars. But that sort of extreme behavior modification tool should only be used to protect the dog's life. It's something originally designed to keep dogs from running out into the road where they would be maimed or killed.

If he treats his dog like this on stream (Shock collar aside, his dog has to sit there for hours every day constantly being startled/awoken by this manchild shouting and screaming at his computer) you wonder how he treats it off stream.
