Scoring in amatuer boxing

I was sparring recently and while I was dipping and weaving a combination I looked down a little too much. I know I'm supposed to look at my opponents chest while slip/weaving to see the punches coming so Im trying to break the habit of looking down while weaving. Anyway I noticed that a lot of the punches landed on the top of my head/hairline and I wondered if these punches count as points to the judges?
