scientists discover new homo

Worth the read?
I had to read it for some class and really enjoyed a new take on the book of Genesis as well as Cain and Abel. In which respect it's almost like a secret history beneath the surface I thought I knew. I'd recommend it to anyone struggling with Western religion, not that it's going to blow the doors wide open or anything. Almost the opposite, because we tend to think of ourselves like gods. This book reminds us of being human.

As conferred by an ape.

What it did for me was remind me to appreciate that there are multiple levels of understanding when it comes to concepts. Different angles. And moreover helping me to understand and be considerate of the people who elect to confine themselves to just one angle.

Pipe down fool.

Ripskater states and defends his beliefs that he has researched and studied by listening to lectures(going to church) and reading source and reference material From a kind of text book written by humans just like you atheist college know it alls learned from books in college No difference, are you a simpleton for having beliefs that I disagree with. No you've just been deceived.

The truth is that when Cain was expelled from the garden he started building cities. His sons with the help of the watchers started metallurgy, alchemy, music, engineering, and math.

What do you think the "watchers" are?

IMO most of the pre flood world of Noah was in many ways even more advanced than our modern day world. ANY archaeological finds or evidence that would prove the biblical narrative or dispel the the lie of evolution is censored by the smithsonian and the aethist scientific community.

This is possible, about certain aspects of those pre flood people having certain aspects of "technology" that exceeded our own. They likely just had a different path in terms of the evolution of their techology. The smithsonian stories are weird, but I've yet to see any real verifiable evidence that they fucked with anything. The amount of news stories about it is alarming.

Look at the monolith. Two million pound stone column cut with laser precision and ,moved by some technology or piece of equipment that our modern world can't come close too.

Are you talking about Baalbek here? If so, we could probably design a rig to move those blocks, but it doesn't exist now.

Soft tissue in dinosaur bones, millions of man made tools and artifacts found in coal deposits world wide according to what scientists say about coal being millions and millions and millions of years old this shouldn't be possible. Funny how these man made artifacts found in coal through out the globe NEVER get any main stream media attention. But then again who's agents in this world control the information?

They are probably wrong about the age of the coal in some instances, there isn't much evidence for humans being older than 180k years in modern form...though it is possible that other lines of humans different from our own have existed that possessed our same skillsets (we already know about neanderthal having similar brain capacity as us)

There's more, ancient hieroglyphs depicting Egyptian flying machines, Egyptian inscriptions and deities found in South America and Mexico wtf?

The flying machines at Abydos are nonsense and are overlayed images onto one another. There are however a LOT of similarities between stories in South America and Egypt that would be foolishly dismissed as coincidence.

Over 1200 human cultures, tribes, and various religions have a flood myth. The fact that the Ararat anomaly is forbidden to be excavated by the Turkish government.

If you want to argue the flood stuff, I got your back, there are scientific reasoning for flooding that don't require any mythology. There are 3 solid candidates all very well established in the scientific record, one about 12.6K years ago, one about 1100 years after that, and one about 3000bc...all of which would have cause massive, civilization destroying, worldwide coastal floading (at least the first two). Ararat is nonsense, let that dog lie.

How about one of the three most ancient cities found in human civilization being found a few miles from mt Ararat and named for Noah in ancient Aramaic.too much coincidence IMO.

a little silly.

There have even been dozens of underwater cities found in oceans throughout the world that never get any mainstream media attention.

Don't conflate cities that have collapsed into the sea for cities that were built before sea level rose. The best example known of an underwater city is explained best by Hancock in his book called "Underworld" regarding areas off the coast of India (Dwarka specifically).

Ask your self why is that? Because it proves the bible is the most accurate ancient history account ever written. And if the bible is proven real through undeniable archeological evidence that exists but is hidden and censored by Satan's agents in this world then Jesus is real.

It may prove certain aspects of the bible accurate, sure, it probably does in the case of the flood myth especially...I don't think there being larger human like hominids in the recent past is all that crazy either, but I think the jury is still out on that one, the proof is really non-existent.

No need to respond. You believe what you believe. I believe what I believe. We'll see who's right one day.

above in red.

I think you are a case of backlash in the opposite direction. The outright dismissal of the bible and myth in general is a pretty big mistake by mainstream academia and atheists trying to discredit the bible, but you are also saying some pretty wild stuff above that has little basis in reality.

I'm pretty sure he's a troll trying to play the stereotypical dumb Christian, but he may be genuine, I know plenty like him in real life. There's just something about him that seems off.

I would agree with this statement.

you gotta take rip at his word. He doesn't break character if that's what he's doing.

So he's either the genuine article

or.

He's a crazy person.

My lord. So many gimmicks that never ever break character for thousands of posts then get banned or just leave after awhile only to show up with a new account and a completely different personality.

It's extremely common, especially on Sherdog.

Not commenting directly on Rip btw, just food for thought -point being, it's totally possible for a person to be fairly normal and do that shit on the web to amuse themselves and and a select few in the know.

I think he just has his own beliefs. He's not hurting anyone so why fuck with him about it?

I've been saying this for a while now but I have very little doubt that ripskater is a gimmick troll. I don't know exactly what his game is, but he is almost definitely not genuine. He's very clever, but he's not what he presents himself to be.

And BTW you are hurting people when you promote harmful beliefs.

odd pathology

It's possible, I'll admit that I most likely don't know what all of his accounts are or have been.

Many of the OT regulars/vets are masters of gimmickry

the thought of ever having multiple accounts or even coming back from the sherdead just rubs me the wrong way. I honestly don't think Rip is a gimmick, but either way, it doesn't matter. He's totally polite and he's a down to earth good old fashioned Christian as far as I'm concerned.

I've had a longer than expected run here, I think if I ever get caught i'm gone for good. I already post sparingly on another sports forum that I dig and a lot of posters I enjoyed reading here are long gone.

We'll see I guess.

well I'm still here. Some people know about my previous accounts and nobody gives a shit. I have an affinity for this place, you can live multiple lives...I was just never weird enough to live them simultaneously. That douchebag Foz used to always piss me off and try and hold me down but I rode it til the wheels fell off...well, until I had one too many post fight benders:)

I'm glad you're around, solid poster...and more importantly, I know you're a solid human being irl. I just know it.

I would think the burial thing could also be a survival thing....dead bodies attract meat eaters.

it started for modern humans as a health issue, which probably includes not wanting to get eaten as you mentioned. Rotting meat and bears don't mix.

Finding burials with bodies and man made items would show a sense of life after death, which is much more salient regarding how close an ancestor may be to us in behavior.

Yeah it's nothing against SD in all honesty, I just don't see myself with another account here if I get picked off. Plenty of good posters still here so I don't see it being a big deal if it happens.

Thanks. And this is the only account I have ever had on Sherdog.

SINCE YOU RESPONDED WITH CIVILITY I WILL PUBLICLY APOLOGIZE TO HORSE STYLE FOR CALLING HIM A FOOL. AS FAR AS YOUR QUESTIONS AND COUNTERPOINTS TO my assertions. I will only respond to your watcher question, I'd need to provide more links for my other flood evidence.

I'll preface my statement that long before I started watching Ancient aliens I read the Apocrypha books of Enoch, Jasher, and Adam and Eve multiple times. I Believe that Jesus Christ is god incarnate and our savior. that said there is something to all of these separate and vastly different cultures having "myths" and legends about "sky people" and knowledge bringers from the heavens.

going strictly from a bible standpoint I think the accounts of Ezequiel's wheels, Jacobs Ladder, and Enoch disappearing in a chariot with great noise and fire all describe in my opinion some sort of highly advanced technology.

I have researched at length the story of the watchers, and all of the Greek demi god myths that surround "the Gods" aka Fallen Angels screwing around with the early descendants of Adam and causing all kind of mayhem.

I believe that these Watchers, demons, fallen angels whatever you want to name them saw in Adam's son Cain a guy they could use to promote they're vision of how they wanted Humanity to develop essentially away from Yahweh's strict laws, and punishments for lack of very high discipline, and integrity expected of his creation whether it be man or Angels.

In my opinion Lucifer and a full 33 percent of angels got tired of listening to god with his rules and standards of conduct so they tried to overthrow him.

the thing is the universal constant of yin and yang, positive negative ,light and dark, male and female must be kept in some sort of cosmic homeostasis. you just cant have all good nor can you have all evil. so some how Yahweh the god of the Christian bible was able to solve this equation or galactic law by creating in Adam a being that knew neither good or evil. sadly he was exposed to some sort of power that gave him the ability to now choose between doing good and doing evil.

now like the angels it is up to us to decide what innate impulse to act on the good or the evil 1/3 of the angels wanted to do what they wanted to do which imo eventually leads to chaos liberty in itself is a detriment to society. if you have individuals with the power and intellect to do what ever well why would you keep your assignment? why would you do an assigned duty with out the personal discipline to keep you showing up on time to perform a function.

anyway this post is too long and i'm chasing mental rabbit trails at this point. all I know is I don't think mankind would come up with certain aspects that I believe were present in the pre flood world without information that was NOT supposed to be divulged to us by the 200 watchers. and they definitely weren't supposed to be down her shagging human women and making giants.

I believe that there is evidence for Giants in our past that are censored and covered up by the Smithsonian. Sumerians first king Hammurabi's statue shows him holding a full size lion like a damn house cat. so sorry if this isn't as coherent as i'd like it to be. I find this stuff fascinating either way. I will respond in the morning have a good night sherbros

Interesting discovery. However I thought elephants were also known for paying respects to their dead and storing them in a separate graveyard like area.

As to the Rip thing, he's no troll. Just a guy living by his beliefs, and a genuinely good person. It's telling to me how many people really cannot fathom the idea of someone having wildly different beliefs. Rip and I are very different people, but I'm still proud to call him a friend. I highly doubt anyone would extend the kind of compassion to others that he does all for the sake of trolling. You can have pretty serious differences of opinion with people, but still have respect for their character. Rip and I always seem to manage to do so.

I don't know if Ripskater is a gimmick or not, but I enjoy reading his posts and watching people lose their shit over the opinions he posts. Pretty crazy how much hate the guy gets without really spreading any around.
