Schaub jumps on every hype train x100.
There are plenty of people who could give Khabib problems.
145:
Ortega: He is pretty big for 145 so he wouldn't be completely outsized at 155. He has sloppy striking at times, but he has a crazy chin and can scrap. Not to mention he hits pretty hard, being that he is the first person to ever finish Frankie Edgar. Also on the ground he is an absolute wizard and jiu jitsu technician. On the feet he destorys Khabib, and I think if Khabib takes him down than theres a very good chance Ortega can tie him up in a submission. Khabib is a high level grappler but I don't know if he can sit in Ortegas guard without being submitted.
Max: Im rooting for Max to get the upset, he has alot of advantages however we haven't seen Max get tested by an elite wrestler yet and he is taking the fight on short notice after an injury. A more well prepared Max has a very good chance of defending Khabibs takedowns, or at least surviving and outpacing Khabib to then KO'ing him on the feet easily.
155:
Tony Ferugson: Ferguson's unorthodox footwork and striking will certainly give Khabib problems, and Ferguson most likely KO's Khabib if they stand up for more than 3 minutes. On the ground, I don't think Khabib has faced anyone as dangerous as Ferguson off his back. Tony is a nightmare on the ground with so many creative and unorthodox moves, sharp elbows, and some crazy submissions. While Khabib has a good chance of beating Tony, I think Tony is the toughest fight for Khabib at 155.
Conor: If Khabib stands up with conor for more than two minutes, Mcgregor can put him away easily. Khabib has some of the sloppiest striking I have ever seen literally running at his opponents with his chin exposed swinging like crazy. Mcgregor can easily slip out and land a counter left that can KO Khabib. On the ground Khabib mauls him no question.
170:
Woodley: He has elite elite wrestling skills to stuff Khabibs takedowns, and has the highest TDD in welterweight history. Its possible that Khabib can take him down, however I think Tyron will not be easy for Khabib. And on the feet forget about it, if Tyron decides to fight he could uncork a bomb of a right hand and KO Khabib as he runs across the octagon. However, the biggest factor would be cardio and Khabib has the more proven cardio.
Wonderboy: I think wonderboy can utilize his long length reach and legs to keep a distance and KO Khabib. Wonderboy is big, long, fast, and etc... He also has alot of heart, much more than Barboza and wont fold up to the pressure of Khabib.
Demian Maia: In his prime could definitely submit Khabib.
GSP: Don't even get me started on this, GSP would destory Khabib in his prime (and maybe even now, however Im not as sure). GSP's striking is leagues above Khabib, he has outwrestled and defended against some of the best wrestlers in UFC history, and he has cardio for days. If the fight ever happens (unlikely IMO) at 155 its different since GSP would be so depleted, but at 17 GSP's cardio would hold up much more to deal with the pace of Khabib.
Schaub was not even sure if Yoel romero could take on Khabib...........
