You must be new to MMA then.... Boxing and Wrestling go together like butter on toast, but last time I checked if I threw a right hook at wresting practice I'd be kicked out... I can look more into HEMA, there combat might be more relastic but there clothes arent even close to it. I'd rather fight in armor, trying to earn the rank of knight. Look great, and where historical clothing and armor. (No offense)

I've been watching MMA since the 90s and that has nothing to do with the SCA. You must be new to reading because I said nothing about MMA. I said wrestling does not go well with the SCA because there is NO wrestling allowed in their rules. Which is fact. If you like their game then that's awesome. I went to Outlandish in 1993 or so. It was a really cool event. However, they don't do sword fighting and the organization is not to my tastes. Have fun.

Not really..no. A stick is very different from a sword, even a blunt one.
