Apparently the doctors cleared her and said they could find nothing wrong, and she still maintained that she's too ill to fight.

JJ stepped up, but the athletic commission shut it down because there's not enough time to do medicals.
 
Its insane how many fights fall apart in the UFC.

I don't see what the NFL has to do with it, a ton more injuries, shorter careers, guys are even retiring before they're injured to prevent later trauma.

Apples and oranges really, NFL players are definitely underpaid, but they're not nearly as good as an investment as a NBA player is.

View that from a players perspective and Id think that would drive their price tag even higher. More risk for them.

NFL revenue is around triple what the NBA does. I dont see how these guys arent pulling in more.

Not that I give a shit tbh, just interesting.

I suppose a strike could do something, I guess you could make an argument for both sides when it comes to risk.

Players think they should get paid better because they're risking their health, owners think the should get paid what they're making because every investment in a player is at risk because of injuries.

I don't give a shit either, not lining my pockets, but I would like to see all athletes get paid what they're worth, we watch sports for them, to entertain us, I don't watch sports or buy tickets to events for owners to take home most of the pie.
