for shame Mark

at least complete on normal difficulty

mark has ADMITTED to playing on easy mode/turning on hints LMAO!! deathstroke killed me 30 fucking times. almost as bad as me trying to beat the final mission in gta 3. took my a cool 6 hours

Lmao @ this, I played on the hardest difficulty you asshole, LOL you couldn't even finish the game.here's some footage of you trying to beat Deathstroke

[YT]pgDDcC7jbOw[/YT]

lol that's exactly how i fought him. makes me sick to watch that fight. shit was rigged

every game should let you skip parts. i play to relax not have a fucking test.

i remember my dude spending like literally days trying to fight that psycho mantis or whatever cat on MGS. once he figured out the second controller action, it was a wrap, but that dude was losing his shit. he talked about that boss, like that cat in the lebron vid, took it way too seriously

i also remember my dad, when i was like 6 and he was 27, finally beating mike tyson in punchout after spending hours. he got so pumped he just punched a hole right through the wall. it was kinda scary at that age, if i knew the term 'pump the brakes' i woulda been screaming it

speaking of psycho, was looking up some old ps2 classics i may have missed and noticed psychonauts. prolly buy that soon

that shit was crazy at the time. dude's family was rich, and i'd go over to his house b/c they had an HDTV back then, legit.

Megaman 3 had a similar thing where you could use the second controller. if you held up on the DPAD, it would semifreeze you and the opponents, but you still shoot almost full speed, making the endbosses extremely easy. Even better, if you held right, you had super jump where you could go off the screen, down holes and shit. if you let go while you were down a hole, you would die, life would drain, but you weren't really dead. you were then invincible w/ no life meter, only you couldn't use the blaster, but the specialty weapons

GOAT random glitch

i also used to love when cats would tell you the Konami code in Contra, acting like experts, yet they simultaneously didn't know it worked for other games like TMNT and Lifeforce in particular

MGS is on PSN. 10 bucks. The graphics are shit but the game is still amazing.

i'd say the equivalent of origins is gow ascension. huge gow fan, was so hyped for ascension especially from the GOAT video game commercial, paid $70 on the release date, popped that fucker in for 1 hour and never played that gar-bitch ever again

GOW games are beautiful, but if you really break them down, they're not that different from button mashers like Onimusha or Dynasty Warriors

edit: at least that's my interpretation, you guys sound like you play more than i do now, so maybe you can tell me otherwise

also agree w/ True completely about the Arkham series

it's definitely a button masher (a few bosses require skill), but the gameplay is still fun and the adventure is epic. pandora's temple is one of the best examples of level design ever

i agree, i've played all but one, just wondered if others felt the same way.
