It's like when people say they miss going to Blockbuster to get a movie, that's obviously not true or else they'd still be open.
They closed down due to the same thing that is killing Gamestop, renting and buying movies and games can be done right from your couch.
And I used Gamestop because they just closed down over 100 stores.

Blockbuster was pretty sweet towards the end. I remember they had a deal for unlimited rentals at $20 month. My last semester at School I binge watched Rome, Deadwood and House in like 2-3 weeks. They also had a much better movie selection.

Yea but then you got services like Red Box, which is much cheaper.
Blockbuster was like $5 for a 3 day rental, and you rarely watched the movie more than once.
I can go to Red Box which is at almost ever 7-11 or Publix, get charged a $1, watch the movie, and then put it back.
Netflix movies do blow though for the most part, there's 100 bad films for ever good one.
