Friend of mine just texted saying the new Deadpool was better than the new Avengers. He didn't like the first Deadpool and loved Avengers, so I guess I'll go see Deadpool 2 this weekend.
 
I just rewatched the first Deadpool and thought it was just as good as the first watch.

My kids want to see Deadpool2 ... badly.

I didn't mind the first Deadpool. I was never enough of a comic book guy to know much about him, except that he was crass and full of one liners. So I knew the casting was appropriate. And they kept the story simple enough, so it was fine. I liked it better than my friend did, though I wasn't blown away. Apparently they got a real budget for this one.

Apparently he came in the school with the guns under his trench coat and nobody noticed. Don't see how bottle-necking all the people trying to leave would have helped.

Yeah, I saw an interview with a student who said he wore it everyday, despite the heat. Same student said he was quiet, but not creepy. He said something along the lines of, 'he must have just snapped because he wasn't like that'. Said he got picked on some, especially by the football coaches (fucking adults, smh) but no one would have expected this. Apparently always wearing the trench coat was the weirdest thing he did.

Same story (minus the coaches picking on him) from a teacher as well. That teacher had her students keep a journal. He never wrote or drew anything in it that was disturbing.

I might have mentioned it before here (maybe not in the SBBC) but we had a guy in HS who was always acting like a rambo wannabe. I gave him shit one day in home room and told him to STFU. He did shut up but also flashed a holstered gun under his jacket. I was shocked. I wonder how close we were to a shooting with that turd?

This is a bit random but that guy's parents were into porn, and I mean a lot of porn. When I started high school, half of the guys I knew had several porn magazines and videos from his parents' collection. Thinking back on it now it boggles my mind how much porn they must have had - LOL.

Honestly, I kind of wonder if that porn is what kept you from a shooting. Even if he couldn't get laid at least he clearly had an outlet as well as some way to relate to and be accepted by his peers.

There were a few of them in my HS as well. Quiet, kinda weird, kept to themselves. They were nice guys though, never caused problems and got along with everyone.

These days though it wouldnt fly, my old HS has a dress code now that would drive most people bonkers. Apparently they got sick and tired of peoples clothes causing problems so they went all in on making everyone equally miserable.
