Something ive always wondered. Why is the Spelling Bee on ESPN?
 
Lol I saw a story about it on their website this morning and was like "huh...". I remember randomly seeing it on when I was a kid

I think it's because some young kids are competing for something . It's a nice story - nobody is gonna be like "fuck these goddamn kids and their spelling bee". It reaches a completely different demographic for an hour (or however long it lasts)
 
One of those kids could probably take the UFC flyweight title with 6 months of training.

They didnt show it on the screen until she started spelling it, definitions and stuff first.
 
and yeah the middle reliever hate is insane. Will Smith is incredible, actor, rapper, most preposterous slider in baseball. Would like to see any of these spelling bee cans do that stuff.
